It was an honour to work with the National Film Board of Canada and David Suzuki.
The Test Tube is an interactive execution of one of David’s favourite parables. We collaborated extensively on conceptual development before shooting David on green, then moved into design, animation and programming. The site pulls realtime Twitter data, relevant to user-entered information and allows the site visitor to explore and interact with it.
At the conclusion of the experience, the user can visually browse the most popular ways people said they would spend their last minute on earth. The site did well at awards shows, picking up an FWA, a CNMA, a Pixel and a Gemini.
