Hiring: Senior Digital Project Manager

Vacuum is seeking a Senior Project Manager with a digital focus. You are a key team member that oversees all aspects of projects, ensuring they are resourced properly, delivered on time, on budget and within scope. You possess strong communication abilities and leadership skills, and are comfortable prioritizing and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. We are seeking someone who takes pride in the work they help their teams produce. We’re a small, tight-knit team that is growing, and the more hats you’re comfortable wearing the better.
Vacuum is an award-winning digital brand agency that’s been around since 2003. We work for established companies like Arc’teryx and Tonal, and help small startups find their footing. We are part of the Fig Leaf Group, a global team of media companies.

  • Lead the scoping and forecasting process for project timelines, budgets & resourcing
  • Monitor & manage project deliverables, timelines, and budgets
  • Manage all stakeholder communications, both internal and external
  • Organize meetings, prepare agendas, take detailed notes, distribute to team members and/or clients
  • Track and provide project status and audit reports

  • Monitor out of scope requests, elevate issues as needed

  • Determine project risk on an ongoing basis, escalate issues as needed

  • Manage statements of work, change orders, and contracts

Resourcing & Forecasting:

  • Comfortable sizing/scoping work in areas such as digital, branding, copywriting, print, & video

  • Work with team leads to evaluate the best makeup for existing and potential projects

  • Run resourcing scenarios based on probabilities of new business
  • Manage and resolve resource booking conflict

  • Maintain constant knowledge of current and upcoming projects and business development activities as they relate to resourcing

  • Responsible for managing overall utilization

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • 4+ years experience at a digital agency or brand

  • Strong business acumen in project planning and management

  • Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills

  • Fluent in the usual tools – slack, notion, jira, harvest, float, asana, kanban, agile, waterfall, hybrid and other buzzwords

  • Budget, cost and profitability management skills

  • Knowledge of resource management tools

  • Credibility as a senior-level project leader

  • Resilience and resourcefulness

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to juggle multiple goals and deadlines in the context of the big picture
